About Us & Our Goal
David Brown & Dean Brown
Father and Son Team
We are a father and son team with extensive experience in both youth and high-level baseball. David is a former NCAA player, and Dean brings decades of coaching and playing experience.
As we progressed through the youth baseball system, we saw widespread dissatisfaction among both players and parents. Large rosters, overzealous parents, and politics often undermined the integrity of the game. We believe youth players should have two primary goals: to have fun and to improve at baseball. HRB accomplishes both.
Today, traditional little leagues are being replaced by overpriced "elite" teams that offer minimal return on investment.
Game Rules
Simple, fast-paced rules designed for maximum action and engagement
Home Run Ball consists of 3v3 games with a pitching machine operating at all times.
The field is split in half by a single chalk line running from home plate through second base to the outfield fence.
Games are 45 minutes long, ensuring fast-paced action and multiple games per day.
Ghost runners only — no live baserunning keeps the game moving and reduces injuries.
Runs are tracked via a manual scoreboard, keeping things simple and transparent.
The HRB Difference
The Original Home Run Ball (HRB) is not just a tournament — it's a reimagined baseball experience that brings families and communities together. Our fast-paced, 3v3 format is action-packed, affordable, and social media–ready.
HRB offers an exciting, accessible alternative to traditional youth baseball.
